Scholarships and prizes in Zoology

Scholarships

There are many scholarships, prizes and other benefits offered throughout the University and by external bodies.

Zoology students are eligible to apply for Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) cadetships. One of the reasons for these generous scholarships is because of the need for many skilled graduates to manage Victoria's natural resources.

Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) Cadetship program

This program offers:

  • an annual allowance of $9 000 to help with fees and accommodation
  • up to $500 each year for books

  • six to eight weeks work experience with DSE per year
  • A job with DSE when you finish university.
