Lindsey Heffernan - Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences (Honours) - Technical Assistant, Biosis Research

Biosis Research is an environmental consultancy company that provides consulting services in both natural and cultural heritage. Some of the services provided by Biosis include: Flora and fauna survey and mapping, impact minimisation and monitoring and environmental planning.

My role in the company is to assist staff in the preparation for and conduct of botanical, cultural and zoological field surveys. I am also responsible for purchasing, managing and maintaining field equipment and vehicles.

I enjoy working at Biosis because it provides me with the opportunity to work with and learn from a specialist team of consultants who have experience in a wide variety of areas. I also like the fact that this job provides me with the opportunity to gain valuable field experience.
