David De Angelis - Bachelor Biological Sciences - Ecological Consultant, ABZECO (Applied Botany, Zoology and Ecological Consulting)

ABZECO is an environmental consultancy that undertakes flora and fauna assessments, threatened species surveys, as well as hands-on ecological restoration and management. My role as an ecological consultant involves working in each of these areas, as well as writing technical reports. I also have the opportunity to engage with and work for a diverse range of clients. Working in consultancy has allowed me to divide my time between working in the field and the office. It also provides opportunities to work with people who have similar passions and interests, and learn from other consultants with expertise in different aspects of ecology and conservation.
