Research interests
- My NHMRC funded research examines regulation and properties of Ca2+- dependent proteases (calpains) in skeletal muscle. My broad interest is in neuromuscular disorders, diseases which affect a variety of different proteins in skeletal muscle (eg. Caveolin-3, dysferlin, dystrophin associated complex proteins).
- My biochemistry laboratory is part of the Muscle Cell Research Group
