Research Facilities

The Research Centre for Linguistic Typology is a modern, well equipped centre, catering for linguists who are serious about language documentation and typological generalisation. There are twenty six offices in the building, each with a PC computer connected to the internet, with access to three laser printers in the building.

There is also a photocopier and a facsimile machine in the building. RCLT boasts a growing Book Collection kept in the Reading Room, which may also be used as a seminar room.

Through the generosity of the Vice-Chancellor of La Trobe University, a nearby building has been refurbished into ten comfortable apartments and units for the use of RCLT's distinguished Visiting Fellows, Research Fellows and PhD students.
