Welcome!

The physics department at La Trobe welcomes enquiries from students with an interest in any branch of physics but particularly from those interested in Space Science, Materials and Surface Science or X-ray Science.

We offer undergraduate programs leading to the award of Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Space Science and Bachelor of Nanotechnology/Bachelor of Science, and provide service courses for students enrolled in Engineering, Environmental science and many other degrees. Postgraduate programs lead to the award of MSc and PhD in the above areas of physics.
