Agricultural Students' Society

All new students enrolled for all undergraduate and postgraduate degrees within the Department automatically become members of the La Trobe University Agricultural Students’ Society. The society's Committee is elected from amongst students in the 3rd or final year of their course in the Department of Agricultural Sciences.

The role of the society is to help students settle into their new surrounds at university and to provide opportunities to get to know others within the course. The society organises many social functions throughout the year, including BBQs and the Annual Ball.

The society also takes an active role in assisting with any problems, concerns or recommendations students may want to pass on to course coordinators.
