Indigenous plant nursery
Prior to European arrival, there was an impressive range of native plants indigenous to the area now occupied by the Sanctuary; over 400 species ranging from tiny orchids to towering eucalypts. The nursery specialises in plants indigenous to the Lower Yarra Valley; over 250 species are available.
