Windows installation

The VPN client software is pre-configured for you. The installation file contains all of the relevant files necessary to install the VPN client on a Windows XP or Vista computer.

Download

Access to the VPN client is restricted to La Trobe University staff and students. Your La Trobe Staff or Student username and password are required to download the VPN client.
This version of the client (5.0.03.0560) is intended for Windows XP or Vista.

Steps for Installation

1. Previous versions of the VPN client must be uninstalled before installation will complete.
    
2. Doubleclick on the VPN client installation file you downloaded.
    
3. The installation process does not require any user interaction and will complete in approximately 2 minutes.
    
4. When the installation has finished you will see the following screen. You must restart your computer before you can use the VPN client software.

Instructions for using the VPN client are available for both staff and students.
