University/Folio Preparation Workshop.

June 30th and July 1st, Bendigo Campus.

Your springboard to success for Year 11 and 12 and TAFE students.

An intensive, but enjoyable 2 day folio preparation program for year 11, 12 & TAFE students wishing to enter university.On completion you will have the skills required to build an impressive professional portfolio, and be able to approach a university pre-selection interview with confidence.

The School of Visual Arts & Design at Bendigo will hold a 2 day workshop specifically designed to assist V.C.E., T.A.F.E. and mature aged students applying for admission to University Visual Art/ Art and Design courses. The workshop targets Studio Arts, Fine Art, Media Studies, Graphic Comminucations students. Yr 11 students are welcome. These workshops will provide prospective course applicants with course content and folio preparation information which is directed at specific course programs to help you (the prospective applicant) apply for the Visual Arts and Design courses of your choice with confidence through:

• folio preparation techniques
• interview strategies
• application information
• confidence in course selection

This will include practical workshop participation in the following areas:Ceramics, Painting/Drawing, Graphic Design/Multimedia, Photography and Printmaking. Workshops will include practical demonstrations which will address interview strategies, folio presentation and more.

Free supervised accommodation (breakfast included) at Koolamurt Scout Camp, Retreat Rd Spring Gully (short distance from La Trobe) is available with free return transport to the university.

Total 2 day Workshop cost $165 including GST. Monday - (free) lunch and dinner. Tuesday - (free) breakfast and lunch.
