Bachelor of Graphic DesignApplied Design![]() 'Packaging Design' Artist: Malcolm Webster Applied Design is a core unit within the Bachelor of Graphic Design studied by all students across the 6 semesters of the degree. Applied Design is available at both the Bendigo and Mildura campuses. Visual communication is at the core of this subject, developed through construction techniques, layout, visualisation and presentation, applied drawing, photography and typographic application. Effective communication relies on the creative interplay between words, text, images, ideas and typography. all students are expected to develop a proficient working understanding of imaging , graphics and page layout computer applications.
