Rowing

The La Trobe University Rowing Club (LURC) is one of the university’s oldest sporting clubs, having been formed in 1968. The Club now has one of the newest and most extensive range of boats of any club in Melbourne.

The club trains out of the Melbourne Rowing Club boatshed located on the Yarra River near Flinders Street station. Travel time to or from the Melbourne campus is approximately 35 to 60 minutes.

We provide opportunities for all levels of competitors from those that want to learn how to row, to people who are aiming to win State or Intervarsity championships.

Beginners, experienced rowers, and coaches are welcome. Come along and be part of a University tradition.
