Please note: The Sports Centre will be closed over the Easter Break 14th - 17th April, Group Exercise will be back on Tuesday 18th April.

Morning Classes are 7.30am-8.30am & 7.45am - 8.20am, Lunch time classes are: 12.10pm-12.50pm & 1.05pm - 1.50pm & Tuesdays and Fridays 12.05pm-12.50pm.  Evening classes are 1 hour in length.

Pool lounge classes are restricted to the first 18 entrants.

No entry will be permitted into classes once the warm up has begun.  Please ensure you arrive on time.  This is for the safety of yourself and other participants in the class and avoids the instructor being distracted from the class.

Participants should:

  • Bring a sweat towel and water bottle
  • Wear Runners (excluding Yoga and Pilates) & appropriate training gear to all classes
  • Hand your Group Exercise entry card to the instructor when entering the room
  • Inform the instructor of any injuries, illnesses or pregnancy that may affect your participation in the class so the instructor can offer alternatives that are safe for you.
  • BOXFIT - inner gloves are require. These are available to purchase at the Sports Centre.

Class descriptions

BodyAttack

A sports-inspired cardio workout!  A high-energy interval training class combining athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises.

BodyPump

Uses barbells and weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning.  Will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body.

Boot Camp

Enjoy total body conditioning during this workout which combines high intensity cardiovascular & weight resistance exercises.

Box Fit

Using a variety of boxing equipment/drills this class is designed to increase strength & fitness levels whilst improving general boxing skills. Please note: Inner gloves must be worn at all times, these will be available for purchase at reception in the near future or can be bought at most sports stores.

Yoga

Re-energise & centre yourself whilst increasing strength & flexibility during this strong & powerful flow blend of yoga traditions.

Pilates

Improve flexibility, posture and core strength. Class is based on Joseph Pilates' well-renowned principles of stretching and stability.

Zumba

A fusion of hypnotic latin rhythms & simple dance moves will ensure you have fun whilst burning calories! No dance experience necessary.

Functional Power

A weights based circuit class designed to condition and develop strength, flexibility and tone. This dynamic class is suitable for all fitness levels and is guaranteed to bring out your inner athlete!

HIIT Circuit

A fusion of strength, interval and abdominal training guaranteed to get the heart rate up, achieve tone and shape, and challenge the core. A unique and dynamic class, suitable for all fitness levels.

Half Hour HIIT

This short duration, high intensity interval training (HIIT) class involves 30-45 minutes of a combination of cardio, plyometric and strength training.  The perfect class to push you to your limits and help you to reach your optimum fitness level! Be prepared to work hard for 30-40 minutes then cool down and stretch for 5 minutes.
