The Sociology Program will present the third Agnes Heller Lecture, The Global New Individualist Debate, on Wednesday 4 November at 5pm in the HUED Lecture Theatre. Presented by ANTHONY ELLIOTT.
ANTHONY ELLIOTT is Professor of Sociology at Flinders University and Visiting Research Chair at the Open University, UK. His books have been translated into sixteen languages and he has lectured at around a hundred institutions worldwide. His recent books include Concepts of Self (2007), The Contemporary Bauman (2007), and Making the Cut: How Cosmetic Surgery is Transforming Our Lives (2008).
