Recently, a group of six highly experienced academics from a range of disciplines, roles and regions commenced work with the PricewaterhouseCoopers team to develop a working draft of a new Workload Management System for La Trobe. Their work is focused on developing a draft of the categories to be provided for in the system, preliminary time allocations and the protocols to be applied in each case.
In preparation for the work of the design team, a framing document was developed by the project steering committee that encapsulates the guiding principles and desired characteristics for the system. This document is now available for your review and comment at www.latrobe.edu.au/staff/restricted/workload-management.html
We would appreciate you giving some time to the review of this framing document and would like you to email comments and suggestions to the wms@latrobe.edu.au address by Friday 13 November for consideration in the further development of the approach and detail of the new system.
Thank you once again for your ongoing input and support of this very important initiative. The outcome can only be better for your input.
