Unit Description:	Statistical forecasting methods are vital aspects of contemporary economics, finance, management accounting and logistics. In this unit students are presented with a survey of common statistical forecasting techniques, such as regression analysis and time series methods. Topics include correlation and simple linear regression, multiple regression analysis and an introduction to the analysis of time series. The use of statistical packages is a feature of this unit.
Prerequisites:	STA1STM or ECO1ISB
Class Requirements:	three 1-hour lectures and one 1-hour tutorial per week.
