Special Conditions:Students require access to a professional group in order to conduct a seminar on their clinical audit topic.
Subject Description:In this subject students are introduced to the clinical audit process as a means of investigating the effectiveness, appropriateness and feasibility of a clinical practice. The subject requires students to have an understanding of the clinical audit process and then plan the conduct of a clinical audit based on best practice evidence. Students will be required to mount a case for what is considered best practice, given the available evidence on their topic and write a detailed report of the plan for conduct of a clinical audit, including ethical considerations.

Class Requirements:A flexible learning package equivalent to 50-hours of classroom contact via the University's Learning Management System (LMS).
