| Unit Description: | The aim of Calculus B is to continue the theme of Calculus A in developing the foundations for studies in a wide range of areas of mathematics and engineering. Students are introduced to second-order differential equations, vector quantities and their application in geometry and mechanics, matrix algebra and the eigenvalue problem, and differentiation of functions of several variables. |
