| Unit Description: | In this subject students develop oral and written proficiency in Italian and are given an introduction to the culture and society of modern Italy. Audio-visual material, newspaper articles and texts on contemporary Italian society are used to develop students' competence in speaking, reading and writing and to broaden their knowledge of Italian culture and society. |
| Prerequisites: | VCE Italian or equivalent |
| Class Requirements: | one 1-hour language lecture, two 1-hour language workshops and one 1-hour seminar per week. For a pass in this subject students must normally attend at least 80% of the language workshops and seminars |
