Unit Description:	In this subject students consolidate and add to the skills gained in first-year intermediate French. We focus on further development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and continue to learn about French culture through the materials used for language acquisition. Students successfully completing the subject should be able to read French, write accurately and make sense of and participate in a variety of communicative situations presented in French, within the limits of the vocabulary and tenses introduced in the subject.

Class Requirements:	one 1-hour seminar, one 2-hour workshop and one hour of independent/on-line study per week. For a pass in this subject students must normally attend at least 80% of the contact hours
