| Subject Description: | This subject provides qualified students the opportunity to conduct applied research on an approved topic within the broad field of International Development. Students are expected to undertake independent research, with the assistance of a supervisor, which will lead to the production of a 4-5000 word research report presented in a professional writing format relevant to their objectives, such as a Briefing Paper or Project Proposal. The activity may be taken in conjunction with a volunteer or paid position within a development agency. This subject will be taught by Tom Bamforth of Australian Red Cross. |
