Registration Information for Undergraduates

Free ECCS (Essential Core Computing Skills) Courses:

All students are automatically registered for the ECCS courses provided by Element K. You will use your La Trobe University email address and the Element K Password that you received via email. Should you have any queries, please contact Training @ La Trobe on 03) 9479 3388.

Students are not required to pay for the seven ECCS courses. Once having completed all seven modules, students can apply to Training @ La Trobe for a Certificate of Completion.

Online Learning – if you are paying for a course (other than ECCS) yourself by cash:

• Download and print the Registration for Online Learning form (pdf, 112kb).
• Complete all the details on the form (preferably use a black pen).  Ignore the bottom left section of the form which asks for Cost Centre and Fund Code details.  Instead, refer to the instructions in the bottom right section regarding making a Cash Payment (including payment by cheque).
• Please take the completed form with your payment to:

The Cashier will imprint your form with the receipt details and forward the receipted form to Training @ La Trobe.  The Cashier will give you a receipt which you should keep for your taxation records. 

Online Learning – if you are paying for the course yourself by Credit Card:

• Registration for Online Learning - Online Payments.
• Complete all the details on the form online, then click Submit Payment.
• Complete your credit card details in the Payment Details screen and then click Next.
• Check your details are correct in the Confirmation of Payment Details screen and then click either Change Credit Card Details or Make Payment.
• Note your reference number in the Transaction Approved screen and then either click Print to print this screen, or click Back to La Trobe to show a Tax Invoice/Receipt to print out instead.
• Your registration details will be forwarded to Training @ La Trobe.

Confirmation of Enrolment

Soon after receipt of your Registration Form, you will receive an email from Training @ La Trobe confirming your enrolment in your selected Element K courses.
