ECDL/ICDL: Databases v 4.0
Eligible
La Trobe staff, postgraduate & undergraduate students.
Description
This course is one of seven Essential Core Computing Skills that will get you started in using a computer.
Most organisations maintain and manage large amounts of information. One of the most efficient and powerful information management computer applications is the relational database. Information can be stored, linked and managed using a single relational database application and its associated tools. In this course, you will be introduced to the concept of the relational database by using the Microsoft Office Access 2003 relational database application and its information management tools.
Although this training has been approved by the ICDL Foundation (www.icdl.com.au), these excercises are not ICDL certification tests.
When you have successfully completed all seven Essential Core Computing Skills (identified by the course code ICDL), you may apply to Training @ La Trobe for a Certificate which will list all seven courses.
