Timetable - Frequently Asked Questions
- When is the 'Provisional Timetable' available for the following year?
The timetable is available in 'Provisional' form on the 1st of October each year to allow for re-enrolment.
This is via the www.latrobe.edu.au/timetable/ website.
Students should check their timetable again online prior to the commencement of each semester.
- When does the Timetable become Final?

It is expected that some change in schedules may occur due to 'settling' of the timetable.
Staff availability, course/program changes, Subject enrolment totals and venue allocation could affect the final timetable, prior to commencement of semester.
The Timetable is deemed 'Final' in January each year, unless affected by the above.
Students should check their timetable again online prior to the commencement of each semester.
- When can I view my Personal Timetable online?

Students may view their Personal Timetable on the following the day of their enrolment.
Personal timetable activities are viewable once the subject is 'enrolled' against your student ID.
- I am entering my personal student ID to obtain my Timetable, however some subjects are not appearing?

Personal Timetable information is provided based on your confirmed enrolment only for subjects which have a status of 'Enrolled'.
- Can I select to view just my lectures?

Users can specify the output format and filter the results by Semester and Activity Type (Lectures)
- Why can't I see a subject on the Timetable when I enter a subject code?

It is possible that the Subject is offered at a different campus. Check the Handbook for campus offering and select the appropriate campus location.
Ensure you enter the subject code correctly. La Trobe University subject codes appear as the discipline prefix (i.e. ACC-Accounting), followed by year level (1-6), followed by the subject descriptor alpha which is available in the Handbook. (ACC2ABC)
- Who could I contact if I have problems with my timetable?

Students should contact their respective Course Advisers or Faculty in the first instance.
- What do I do if I find a clash in my timetable?

The University offers 'core' or 'set' programs which must not clash.
This provides students with a clear study pathway and clean timetable
Problems with core timetable should be reported to the Course Adviser or Faculty.Courses which allow students to select elective subjects must be selected where the timetable permits a clear study path. Students may seek advice from a Course adviser.
