Roxanne Betts
Roxanne Betts is in her first year of the Bachelor of Outreach and Community Education offered at La Trobe's Melbourne campus. This is the only course of its kind in Victoria, giving graduates a recognised P-12 teaching qualification with a specific focus on student wellbeing.
Throughout the four years of the Bachelor of Outreach and Community Education degree, Roxanne will complete placements in a range of settings. The course is giving her the experience she needs to work with disengaged youth and in some of the most disadvantaged educational settings in Australia.
