Roxanne Betts
Roxanne Betts is in her second year of the Bachelor of Outreach and Community Education offered at La Trobe's Melbourne campus. This is the only course of its kind in Victoria, giving graduates a recognised prep to year 12 (P-12) teaching qualification with a specific focus on student wellbeing.
Throughout the four years of her degree, Roxanne will complete placements in a range of settings. The course is giving her the experience she needs to work with disengaged youth and in some of Australia's most disadvantaged educational settings.
