How Do I.. Turn It On?

Although the Turnitin PowerLink has been implemented across the Learning Management System, it is not automatically enabled at the LMS Subject level. A Designer will need to enable the Turnitin tool for each LMS Subject or space in which it is to be used.

  1. Log in to the LMS and go the Subject in which you want to enable the Turnitin Powerlink.
  2. On the Build tab, select Manage Course from the suite of Designer Tools. The Manage Course screen will be displayed.
  3. Choose Settings, then at the Settings Management screen select Turnitin Assignment from the Tools list – the Tools list is the first column on the left of the main frame.
  4. Select True for the Enable Tool option and then choose Save Values.

    IMPORTANT! DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE OTHER VALUES.

  5. You will be returned to the Settings Management screen and a message will be displayed stating that the tool settings were successfully changed
  6. The Turnitin Powerlink has been enabled.
