Teaching and Learning Grant News
The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal uses new approaches to regional and rural development as it facilitates partnerships and mentor's relationships which may otherwise not have happened. The foundation uses seed funding and challenge grants to move regional development project funding into a more dynamic context. In particular, its 'Helping Hands' program provides grants of up to $50,000 for the provision of Education and Training that will have an impact on local employment and income. For more information see www.frrr.org.au
The Macquarie Group Foundation is one of Australia’s oldest and largest corporate foundations contributing more than $A17.3 million last financial year to more than 800 community organisations. The Macquarie Group Foundation focuses its resources in five core areas – arts, education, the environment, health and welfare. They are also committed to projects specifically aimed at supporting Indigenous communities. See www.macquarie.com/foundation
