La Trobe on iTunesU

At the start of 2012, La Trobe became the first Australian university to launch courses on Apple’s iTunes U – a new online delivery method that allows a worldwide audience to access teaching material for free, regardless of location or enrolment.

La Trobe courses currently available on iTunes U include, Principles of Physics, History of Children’s Literature and The European Union in the New Millennium – a course that includes interviews with leading EU figures and academics in the field:

La Trobe started adding recorded material iTunes U in 2009, and now offers over 850 lectures, interviews and videos. Notable interviewees include former Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Fraser, Nobel Prize winner in medicine Professor Harald zur Hausen, human rights and refugee advocate Julian Burnside, and former Australian of the Year Professor Patrick McGorry.
