La Trobe's synchrotron investment
La Trobe University is a foundation investor of the Australian Synchrotron. The University made a substantial committment to the synchrotron by signing up for a $2.5 million five-year beamline partnership in association with a group of South Australian universities. Foundation investors have preferential access to 30 per cent of the facility's capacity.
