Current Research and Future Opportunities report

StudentsIn 2011, the Institute circulated Current Research and Future Opportunities, a report setting out current research related to sustainability at the University. We looked at social and environmental sustainability broadly, with the aim of informing researchers across the University about their colleagues’ research and to assist them in identifying synergies and developing multidisciplinary project proposals.

The report also provided background material for facilitated workshops, at which participants spoke about their work and identified possible collaborations. Smaller groups discussed and noted barriers to collaboration, and ways that the Institute might facilitate ways that different disciplines might work together; that is, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary collaborations.
