La Trobe offers students from TAFE and other institutions the opportunity to fast-track their undergraduate degree via credit for successful or partial completion of a Diploma or Advanced Diploma program.
A number of institutions have credit agreements for La Trobe degrees:
- Australian Defence Forces (ADFHEAS Scheme)
- Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (BRIT)
- Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT)
- Chisholm Institute
- Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE
- Holmesglen Institute of TAFE
- The Institute of Design, Entertainment and the Arts
- Kangan Batman Institute of TAFE
- Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT)
- Riverina TAFE
- Sunraysia TAFE
- William Angliss Institute of TAFE
- Wodonga Institute of TAFE
- Other
The tables on these pages outline the credit you'll receive for studies at these institutions if you gain a place in an undergraduate course at La Trobe.
However, please note that entry is competitive, and not guaranteed on the basis of prior studies. Also, if you completed your qualification prior to the date listed, your qualification will need to be individually assessed for credit towards a La Trobe degree.
If you don't see your institution listed, well still take your prior studies into account when considering how much credit to give you towards a La Trobe degree. Please contact the Future Students Centre on 1300 135 045 for advice.
