Year 10
Why is Year 10 important?
The choices you make about VCE subjects in Year 10 determine your study options when you finish Year 12, so it's a pretty significant year!
For example, many uni courses require you to have done particular subjects in VCE, called prerequisites. Without the prerequisites for a particular course, you won't be considered no matter how well you've done in your VCE, so it's essential to know which subjects you need for the university courses that interest you.
I'm thinking about going to uni - how do I choose a course?
Choosing just one course can seem a bit daunting when there are literally hundreds to choose from. The easiest way to start is to think about the things you're best at and love doing; then you can look for courses that match your skills and interests.
Use CourseFinder to find a La Trobe course that suits your interests.
