The following table shows estimated average annual costs for a single student sharing rental accommodation, living in a one-bedroom flat or living in on-campus accomodation (catered and non-catered). Total figures are for the 37 weeks of the academic year only. Please note that we have not included the cost of clothing or travel expenses for leisure purposes.

Shopping

Department stores and most other shops are open 9.00am to 5.00pm, with later night shopping Thursdays and Fridays, and shorter shopping hours on weekends. Coles supermarket and some convenience stores are open 24 hours.
