"If you had one shot, one opportunity, would you capture it? Well, I took my changes, made the best of it and had an experience of a lifetime. Throughout the time spent in Australia I viewed the beauty that it has to offer through the lens of a camera and in the company of a great group of friends. My goal was to capture the spirit of a new place, and to see what everyone else saw, but [also] to go beyond that. I viewed the land, the sky; and all around me with my own point of view, and for my own personal gain. The journey through the Outback was breathtaking and far from ordinary, and yet I tried to capture the ordinary and simple lines created by the different terrains of the Outback to represent my journey and the bonds and friendships formed during the trip. I learned to move through space and time, and experience emotions and appreciation like never before."
