All La Trobe students can apply for financial support from the La Trobe Student Loan Fund. The level of support the Fund provides depends on each student’s essential needs.
The Fund aims to help students cover study-related costs, including books, equipment, computer software and hardware, travel for University-based research, and course placements.
You can normally borrow up to $2,500; however, the Fund provides for loans of up to $4,000 in cases of special need. Loans above $200 normally require a guarantor who meets specified criteria.
