Information for deferred students

If you have deferred your studies at La Trobe University until 2010, you will receive a letter from the University in early September asking if you want to enrol in 2010.  If you do – just fill in the form which is sent to you and return it to the Deferral Officer by the due date.
 
If you are not sure about whether to enrol for 2010, here is some information which may be helpful to you.

Below is a list of people to talk to if:

• you got into a course you don’t really want to do and you want to know what other options might be open to you
• you  want to know if you can extend your deferment
• you’d like to know what will happen if you don’t enrol for next year but might want to reapply in the future

If you are a future student who is considering applying and then deferring in 2010, here is our deferral policy:

A one year deferral may be granted to all commencing undergraduate students in 2010 on request, unless otherwise stated in the course entry in the VTAC and UAC Guides 2010. Courses may grant more than one year deferral.

All applicants who receive an offer and wish to defer must write to the Deferral Officer, Student Administration, La Trobe University, PO Box 821, Wodonga, Vic 3689, citing their La Trobe ID number and the name of the La Trobe University course in which they’ve been offered a place. You may also apply for deferral by emailing us at defer@latrobe.edu.au
