Postgraduate coursesIf you already have a degree and you're considering postgraduate study via coursework or research, visit CourseFinder for detailed information on admission requirements for your chosen postgraduate course. General information follows. Masters by Research/DoctoratesIf you're a local applicant, you can submit an application for research candidature at any time. To apply for Doctoral candidature, you should already have a Master's degree or a Bachelor degree with Honours, with a high level of achievement. To apply for Master's candidature, you should have an Honours degree or Master's Preliminary. Once you've spoken with a potential supervisor and received in-principle approval for your topic, simply download an application form from La Trobe's Research and Graduate Studies Office webpage. Postgraduate coursework programsIf you're a local applicant, you can apply to postgraduate coursework programs via La Trobe's direct application form (PDF 170kb). Applications usually close between late October and late January each year; you'll find application deadlines in CourseFinder.
