JÃ~rn Utzon's Sydney Opera House. Carol Jerrems' Melbourne. Mike Davis' Los Angeles. Susan Sontag's New York. Cities are significantly shaped by the artists, designers, architects, choreographers and intellectuals. This subject develops an understanding of the contemporary arts directly from the exhibitions associated with Melbourne Now at the NGV and Ian Potter Centre Student's will be taught by NGV curatorial and Education staff, exhibiting artists and Faculty staff. The subject will be delivered at the NGV in February, 2014.
