Subject outline

Students examine the concept of natural heritage both globally and in Australia and the changing ways in which heritage has been valued, represented and interpreted since European settlement in Australia. Through fieldwork and research students critically analyse natural heritage processes in both Australian and global contexts and the challenges heritage management poses to interpretation practice. Students research, develop and present a report on a non face-to-face interpretive program about one particular landscape.
