Subject outline

In this subject we will consider global migration law, policy and practice on a comparative basis.  We will analyse and contrast countries with large migration inflow on the basis of their constitutional and/or legislative ties, policies and statutory schemes as they influence migration.  We will also consider the global factors influencing migration, in particular those which have contributed to the recent mass migration and the resultant global migration crisis.
