COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

The focus of this subject is on relational and communicative skills in interactions with others. Connections between people are examined from a number of viewpoints, as are the skills involved in fostering positive relationships. Skills of basic counselling such as listening, responding and clarity of intention are addressed. Demonstrations, simulations and directed practice are used to assist participants to develop their communication and interpersonal skills.
