Subject outline

In this subject students will commence the research project (thesis) associated with the Honours Year Program they are undertaking. This will involve completing an individual and independent research project on an economics or econometrics topic under the direct supervision of an academic staff member. Topics outside of the disciplines of economics and econometrics must be approved by the Head of the Department of Economics and Finance or the Honours Program Coordinator.

Special conditions Students enrolled the Graduate Diploma in Economics (LGE) must obtain permission of Postgraduate coordinator to enrol in this subject. The criteria used by the Postgraduate Coordinator will be whetheror not the student is sufficiently prepared to complete the thesis successfully.
