Subject outline
This subject is a core elective subject of the Bachelor of Commerce program. As part of the Bachelor of Commerce, students must complete either: a work integrated learning subject such as BUS3ELP, ACC3AWP; an international study tour subject such as ACC3IAS, BUS3BST, or BUS3IST; or in the absence of completing either, they must complete this subject BUS3PPB. In this subject you will be provided the opportunity to engage with professional business, public service, and community leaders, both past and present, as they present a series of case studies drawn from their professional experience, which raise issues related to the professional practice of business today. The issues which these case studies will be focused on include personnel issues, ethical issues, crisis management issues, risk management issues and many others which demonstrate the multidisciplinary set of intellectual, personal and practical problem solving skills you will need to develop to succeed as a business professional.
