Subject outline

Together with the subject PHE5ASB, these subjects aim to further student's development as counsellor practitioners. Focusing on advanced counselling skills such as Advanced Empathy, Challenging and Immediacy and utilising specific skills identified in the approaches presented in the subject PHE5CHC, students are expected to develop competency in integrating advanced skills into their practice. Classes include practice sessions to facilitate students both deepening and broadening the skill-base from which they work.
