Subject outline

In this subject students develop an understanding of how to identify and construct teaching and learning activities with the use of interactive technologies. Students explore the literacy, conventions and values that contribute to the effective design of digital media, work in a Web 2.0 environment and engage in a broader multimedia based project. Students also develop capacity to work independently and collaboratively when learning with technology. Issues in ICT, in particular contemporary learning and ethical digital citizenship are explored. The digital technologies curriculum and DET digital learning resources are also explored.
