Unacceptable behaviour

Discrimination and harassment of people on the basis of irrelevant characteristics is unacceptable at La Trobe. If you are a student or staff member and believe you have experienced some form of harassment or discrimination, there are a number of options and supports available to you.

La Trobe University expects students and staff to promote a climate of mutual respect. Identifying and eradicating bullying in any form is part of the University's commitment to students.


Bullying is repeated unreasonable behaviour that is victimising, humiliating, undermining, threatening, degrading, offensive, intimidating or excluding and it can be directed towards a student, or group of students. If you feel you are being bullied check out the Bullying Between Students Policy.
