MyPrint for students
Activating your MyPrint Recharge account is a two stage process, that doesn’t take long to complete. It is best done once you have your new Student (or staff) card available, however you’ll be able to access printers without it:
First, you’ll need to put some funds in your user account to be able to print and copy. You’ll need to add funds whenever the balance approaches $0.00.
Recharge your card here
Second, you’ll need to associate your card to your account the first time you use a multifunction device. This is a once off activity (unless you change cards).
Bring Your Own Device
You can print from any device, with La Trobe network access, or internet access (if outside the network) using your La Trobe credentials. Go to http://myprint.latrobe.edu.au
Log in with your LTU username and password and follow the prompts on the Web Print page. You can download our detailed Quick Reference Guide here
Note! – On some mobile devices, you may need to use Desktop View or Request Desktop Site in your browser settings
Email To Print
One of the great new features of MyPrint is the ability to send an email with attachments to the print queue and retrieve the documents next time you scan your card.
For black and white print, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
For colour prints, email: email@example.com
Multifunction - Print, Copy, Scan
A new fleet of Ricoh Multifunction Devices are available in all La Trobe Libraries and many common areas across all campuses. By scanning your student card you can release print jobs or use other device functions like copying and scanning. The interfaces across all machines are the same and are simply, intuitive and easy to use. Feel free to check the Print, Copy, Scan webpage for more detailed information.
For more information on registering and loading credit to your student card, visit the MyPrint Recharge webpage.
Printing is available from any device that has web connectivity or email access.
If you don’t have an existing staff or student card, you’ll need to setup a MyPrint PaperCut account. Click on the link below to do so.
Add some funds to the account once it is setup, here. Please only add as much as you need as funds on visitor/casual accounts are non-refundable.
If you have a Guest card (available from the library) or another card with a sensor chip in it, such as a Myki card, you can associate this card with your MyPrint account the first time you use an MFD.
Printing in computer labs
Printing may be available from some computer labs via a specific workstation with a direct print queue. Only that workstation can print to it, usually where this is required as part of the course or learning experience. In other areas, printers may be available in more open areas and you can print to them from La Trobe machines, via Email to Print and via Web Print.
A new Print Services Shopfront is now open on the ground floor of the Peribolos East Building(Bundoora Campus Only).
Here you can speak to the team from Rooster IMC for any of your specialist print services such as: Posters, Thesis Printing and Binding, Booklet making, etc.
