Subject outline

In this subject students will be introduced and orientated to the orthoptic clinical setting. It is a beginning level placement subject that will include a one-week intensive clinical placement where students will be provided with practical tuition and supervised hands-on clinical experience to allow the theoretical knowledge and investigative and management procedures learnt in previous subjects to be applied. This subject will in part be experienced within the Orthoptics Clinical School Network and will equip students to progress to the fourth year Orthoptic Clinical Practice subjects.
