HUS3WPP

2018

Credit points: 15

Subject outline

This community-based online subject has an entry qualification. This work placement subject enables students who meet the entry standards to implement the individual work-internship project they scoped and planned in HUS2WRP or HUM2SLC or in an equivalent subject. Under strict protocols mandated by the subject, and only after prior approval is given by the coordinator of the subject, each student will be licensed to contact their internship host organization and to show their host their project brief. Students will then implement their projects, under the supervision of the subject or instance coordinator, and following rules specified by the Experiential Learning Team in the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Commerce. While implementing their projects at work, students also monitor their work experiences, project outcomes, and implementation processes. This subject does not teach your project. Instead, the subject supports and facilitates every student to implement their project. The subject enables students to experience learning as a vocation.
