Subject outline

Aural rehabilitation is an integral component of clinical audiology. Building on the foundation knowledge and skills gained in AUD5RHD (Rehabilitation I - Hearing Devices), in this subject you will further develop your understanding of the impact of hearing impairment on individuals, their communication partners and the wider community. Through a combination of workshops and self-directed learning modules, you will develop skills in patient-centred audiological rehabilitation and counselling techniques.
